Oliver Stone visiting Iran?
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Several Iranian news agencies have reported that Oscar-winning Anti-war Hollywood director Oliver Stone, creator of controversial films such as Snowden, Born on the Fourth of July, The Untold History of the United States, and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is scheduled to attend Iran's International Fajr Film Festival this week.
Oliver Stone has been credited with writing and or directing over 20 full-length feature films, earning him a well-respected place in cinematic history for some of the most influential and iconic films of the last two decades (His complete biography can be found on www.oliverstone.com).
Oliver Stone's son, Sean, a documentary filmmaker, is a big fan of Iranian culture and has traveled to Isfahan in the past.
Stone is a staunch progressive libertarian liberal as seen in his anti-establishment statements and works such as his interview with Putin, or his stance against use of mobile phones, and his recent interview with Comedian and political commentator Jimmy Dore in 3 parts (shown below).
