Dominican University of California will host an art installation including work by more than 10 Persian artists with art curation by Shiva Pakdel and Afshin Shirazian debuting on Saturday June 15th, from 5:00-8:00pm. This exhibition celebrates Timeless Themes of the Persian Perspective. The installation will be on exhibit at the Gallery from June 15 – September 6.
Art has the power to communicate a better understanding of our differences and therefore create a connection. Persia (Iran), is an extraordinary land that evokes different feelings when mentioned... different for those who focus on its politics, and different for those who focus on its art, history, and culture, therefore, it is largely misunderstood.
