Ford Fusion Recalled for Gear Selector Issue

Ford is recalling 259,182 of its 2013 to 2016 Fusion sedans because a cable that links the gear selector to the transmission can fail, allowing the transmission to be in a different gear from what the shifter indicates. If that happens, Ford says, the driver could put the selector in Park and remove the ignition key even though the transmission may not be in Park.
