Religious leaders condemn teargassing protesters to clear street for Trump
Religious leaders around the country are condemning the use of tear gas on peaceful protesters outside the White House Monday evening to clear the area for President Trump to walk across the street to be photographed in front of a church. St. John’s Church was damaged by fire during demonstrations over the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis.
