Topic: Diabetes, Obesity, and Thyroid problems
Abstract: This talk will concentrate on diabetes, obesity and the relations between them. Some treatments and ways of lowering the risk of getting diabetes and Thyroid disease, etc, will be discussed.
The Speaker: Dr. Iraj Nejad graduated From Alborz High School in 1958, and
received his Medical degree from Tehran University in 1965. His Internal Medicine residency and trainings were at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven during 1967-1970. Then he did his Endocrinology (Ghodad) subspecialty during 1970-1971 in Hartford Hospital and during 1971-72 at the University of Connecticut. Finally, he did his Nephrology (Kidney) subspecialty at the University of Wisconsin during 1972-1973. Then he practiced for 3 years in Waterbury, CT, before moving to Iran, where he practiced and was a faculty of Medicine at Jondi Shapour University during 1976-80. Dr. Nejad has been practicing in Bridgeport since 1980.
he is a flat cost of $15 per person for dinner, salad, soft drinks, tea, coffee, tax and tip.
