S Korea's oil imports from Iran up 8 times

(Photo by Shana)/ Official figures show South Korea’s imports of oil from Iran last December soared about eight times greater than a year ago – what may be a yet another indication that the Islamic Republic is getting a stronger position in the global oil market in a post-sanctions era. Figures released by South Korea’s customs office also showed that the country’s imports from Iran for 2016 more than doubled from 2015 levels. South Korea is one of Iran's major oil customers. ...
