Peruvian family builds low-cost laptop with recycled wood
A family of Peruvian entrepreneurs has developed a laptop made of recycled, pressed wood which can be powered with a solar charger. The low-cost and durable device is aimed at improving the connectivity of some of Peru’s less well-off inhabitants and at boosting the educational chances of students in more remote areas of the country.
