Join us as we welcome the Spring season with the yogic tradition of practicing 108 Sun Salutations. This is an invigorating physical practice, where the focus is on building tapas, or heat, intended to detoxify and burn away impurities of body and mind. In this practice we pay honor and gratitude to the sun for providing us with warmth, energy, and illumination. The entire practice, including chanting, will take under 2 hours.
Afterwards, we will celebrate the Persian New Year (which also happens to fall on the spring equinox) with traditional Persian refreshments!
