Iran issues law to investigate relocating capital
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued a law that obliges the Road and Urban Development Ministry to investigate the possibility and ways of moving Iran's political and bureaucratic capital from Tehran. The law is intended to decentralize crowded Tehran, Tasnim news agency reported May 30. It has passed approval by the Parliament and Guardian Council.
